La tour pélagique - 2008, Rennes Biennale, FRAC Bretagne Collection.

To take an iconic shape, the Eiffel Tower, to make it functional and invisible. To transform the structure of the Eiffel Tower in full-scale by modifying it slightly to transform it into a net "fishing" is the step of development conducted with The Drezen company in Guilvinec. It resulted in the realization of plans. A 1/100 model tested in the test basins of Ifremer in Lorient, allowed to see the behavior of the net in the water. The achievement of the full size fishing net, by about fifteen people from Le Drezen, was particularly complex due to the unusual structure of the mesh and because of the narrow size of the company's building. The verification of the ability of the net has been done with fishing boats from the port of La Turballe. It was what we call "beef fishing", which means that the net is dragged by two boats (the Vikings II and the Cheops). A hundred kilos of fish were caught by the net.
